Daniel T. Moore, CPA

As the owner of D.T. Moore and Company, LLC in Salem Ohio, Daniel's ever growing practice concentrates on accounting, tax planning and preparation, payroll services, and compliance for individuals and small businesses. He works with start-up companies helping to design the concept, strategizing through development, leading to growth. Daniel has been honored multiple times by the CPA Practice Advisor's '40 Under 40' in the accounting profession. He has served on many boards including the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Counsel (IRSAC), the Wage and Investment subgroup of IRSAC. He is a past member of the AICPA Individual Income Tax Technical Resource Panel and currently serves on the Tax Practice Management Committee. He has also served on the IRS executive steering committee for the 1040 modernized efile platform implementation. Dan conducts continuing education seminars on topics ranging from advising clients on social security benefits, planning for college costs and working with tax exempt organizations; and presents seminars on tax identity theft, federal tax updates and individual and business tax preparations. He has taught income taxation as an adjunct professor at Youngstown State University. He is a member of and spoken on behalf of the Ohio Society of CPAS on the topic of the Ohio Budget Task Force. In addition, he has served as a panelist on the Internal Revenue Service webcast series, "Tax Talk Today." Dan received his Bachelor of Business Administration- Accounting Degree, Cum Laude, from Kent State University and is a member of the Kent Salem Advisory Board and Kent State University Alumni Association; he received his Master of Public Administration from Gannon University, Erie, PA.
